At present, there are various combinations of four lines, five lines, six lines, seven lines, and eight lines on the market . Each type has its advantages and disadvantages , but four lines and five lines are the most popular. The principle of resistive technology is simple , the threshold is low , the integration of upstream and downstream is complete , but multi-finger detection is not possible , and the response is less sensitive , and the short life is its main disadvantage . At present , most hand-held mobile phone screens are of this type. The following table compares the different resistance types , as shown in Table ( 1 ) .
